I'm writing an essay on the above. Could you suggest great websites or books that would help me research this topic, I'm not into finances and business, my degree was psychology.

Or even a great angle for my essay, thanks.

An example of a school bribe. Hope you enjoy it.

A student comes to a young professor's office. She glances down
the hall, closes his door, and kneels pleadingly.

"I would do anything to pass this exam."

She leans closer to him, flips back her hair, and gazes
seductively into his eyes.

"I mean," she whispers, "I would do *anything*."

He returns her gaze.

"Anything?"

"ANYTHING"

His voice softens. "Anything??"

She smiles mischievously, "Anything."

His voice turns to a whisper,

"Would you . . . study?"

I have taken a class from Dr. Caldero, who wrote the book linked to below. This book should do a good job of demonstrating that bribery and corruption are human nature. From a store owner giving free food or refusing payment from a police officer to an outright bribe, we are inclined (subliminally in many cases)to "buck" for better attention from our protectors and administrators, even when we don't intend to.
