My HP Pavilion Media Center (m7680y) will not shut down... the only way i can is by pulling the plug. Insight?

On Windows XP, media edition. It's been doing this for a long time.... almost since the beginning.

Why don't you check HP's support?

www.hp.com/support , check first if your problem is in their FAQ. If not, contact HP support directly.

Make sure you download the latest drivers and patches as well.
