My laptops power supply stopped charging my laptop and I looked at the end that goes into my laptop and it looked like it melted a little. Now it will not charge my laptop at all. I was wondering what is wrong with it. Could my laptop be completly messed up. What do you think?

More than likely it's not messed up. The heat generated from the 120v (wall outlet) to laptop voltage, generates alot of heat. The weakest link is where the it plugs into the laptop. I repair alot of these. No biggy really, just be aware of the heat and unplug it at times. This will also allow your batteries to run down. Which is a good thing. I recommend this.....ONLY plug it up while you using it. Unplug the rest of the idle time. Hope this helps.

Sounds like your DC jack is shorting and arcing on the plug. You need it repaired before it fries the board. I see them all day like that.

It sounds like either the battery or the power adapter is dead, i would take it to a shop and get them to look at it for you
