I have a seven-year-old Dell Dimension V350. It used to be a very good computer until it got blown away with the new computers that Dell / HP / Apple are coming out with. Although I would like to know what other things I can do to my Dell V350 to be somewhat on the top of the line... Right now I have upgraded several components: hard drive from 30GB’s (what it came with) to 120GB’s, OS - Windows 98 to Windows XP Professional, bought a 256MB chip of memory to max out at 384MB. My computer is running on Intel Pentium II processor.
What other upgrades can i do to my Dell V350?? or do i just have to go out and buy a whole new desktop?
thanks!!

Well they say the lifespan of a computer now is about 4 years give or take depending on your configuration. Well first off what do you really use it for if it is just some internet surfing and work then you are not in that much need of a new computer. If you want to start running demanding applications and games. Or multimedia i would suggest getting a new one. Either way i would get a new one.
