From before 1300 a get was what had been begotten, a child or offspring. But by about 1500 it had started to be used in Scotland and northern England in the sense of misbegotten, a bastard; from there it became a general term of abuse for a fool or idiot. By about 1700 get seems to have lapsed into slang or dialect, only to reappear in the wider language in the 1940s with a different spelling and lacking the associations with illegitimacy. James Joyce uses the older spelling (and meaning) in Ulysses in 1922: “The bloody thicklugged sons of whores’ gets!” These days, it’s a widely known and used term of abuse in Britain for somebody regarded as totally worthless or useless, most commonly appearing in cries of frustration such as “that stupid git, now look what he’s done!”.

'm so tired, I haven't slept a wink
I'm so tired, my mind is on the blink
I wonder should I get up and fix myself a drink
No, no, no
I'm so tired, I don't know what to do
I'm so tired, my mind is set on you
I wonder should I call you but I know what you'd do
You'd say I'm putting you on
But it's no joke
It's doing me harm, you know I can't sleep
I can't stop my brain, you know it's three weeks
I'm going insane
You know I'd give you everything I've got
for a little peace of mind
I'm so tired, I'm feeling so upset
Although I'm so tired, I'll have another cigarette
And curse Sir Walter Raleigh
He was such a stupid get
You'd say I'm putting you on
But it's no joke
It's doing me harm, you know I can't sleep
I can't stop my brain, you know it's three weeks
I'm going insane
You know I'd give you everything I've got
for a little peace of mind
give you everything I've got for a little peace of mind
give you everything I've got for a little peace of mind
stupid get = idiot (yes, some English term)....
one of my fave beatles tunes!

If shall we in basic terms quit competing. life does not might desire to be full of rigidity and frustration, we made it up. We willingly bypass alongside with this resourceful requirement of all those issues we'd desire to continually do and can desire to have, we enable our selves be brainwashed by employing thousands of classified classified ads daily, that compels us to purchase extra and experience this deficiency that we cant quite place. We completely forgot that nature has its very own set of policies, it attracts us to stability and something opposing that's going to flip out as undesirable. That stability is approximately co-operation and sharing, somewhat than opposition and exploitation, so we are very plenty in opposition today. the stable information is that there is plenty we are able to do and the information might nicely be achieved, as long as we endure in techniques that we are jointly in this deliver with a hollow in it!

The word used is "git", not "get". It is a British (English particularly) vernacular term for a stupid person, or an annoying person, a moron in your opinion, someone you wish would go away.
