The path of my life is strewn with cow-pats from the devil's own satanic herd!! Karma is out to get me! Seems to not matter how good I am, or how nice I am to people, it always bites me in the butt! I'm trying really hard here, and can't think of anything I've done to deserve all the rubbish. Is this punishment for something in a past life? Is this my version of hell? Is the devil having fun at my expense?

I have come to understand that for no apparent reason sometimes good things happen to bad people and sometimes bad things happen to good people....
It just is...
but it is important that you know, accept and believe that you are not at fault now or at anytime....

Life is not for the faint hearted. The older one gets, the more one sees that everyone has trouble and tragedy in their lives. Right now it is cold and dark which makes it worse. What you can do is try to accomplish little things each day and stay away from people who take advantage of you or put you down. Do things you enjoy. If you are alone, don't be idle--it leads to depression and pessimism. If your situation permits it, get a couple of cats. They are fine company and never dump on you.

I feel so bad for you! It is exasperating when no matter what good you do, it seems to "bite" you "in the butt". I have been there.

In Proverbs 3:5 & 6, it states, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and rely not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths"
Many righteous people have gone through what you are going through. Do not be afraid or angry. Ask God to help you, and to be with you, and to give you a sence of His presence.
The first thing you need is to ask God to forgive all of your sins in the name of Jesus Christ, and also to forgive any sins of other people that can be feeding into your terrible situation. The second, is to ask God for wisdom, and for Him to reveal Himself to you. Ask for wisdom concerning these events. The third thing is to forgive the people who have hurt you. This is harder to do than to say, but ask God for help, and you will be able. I know, because I did this very thing, and I know that He is faithful.

Time will resolve your issue's. Karma will eventually greet you in the near future.
It is only when God told Satan to worship his greatest creations (Adam / Humans) that he protest and Satan said I was first they should worship me and dismissed the human creation, so god cast Satan down on to earth for arguing with him. In such he is still Gods favorite angel.
The Left Behind…made Satan look more, & more evil in the New Testament as this was written by man reflecting situations in there time(only story’s, that don't reflect gods will). Satan was never evil. He uses deception, temptation and hope to show how the humans are not worthy. It is up to the individual (Free Will) to know Right from Wrong.
