In a word - No. What Alex Ferguson has done at man Utd will never happen again. Clubs don't have the patience any more. Football was different when Ferguson took over at Man Utd - and even he was close to the sack at one stage (turned it around by defeating an unlucky Crystal palace in the 1990 FA cup final)...and never looked back.
I'm a big fan of both Ferguson & Keane (not Utd lol), and I think Keane will be a successful manager - but there's only one Alex Ferguson...

a lot of managers do well on their first season.
Remember its not just keane but also quinn buying club and assisting with players.
You cannot compare Keane with Ferguson who has successfully managed 2 top teams for years and years.
Although i think Keane will do just fine.

Not a chance mate, Keane is just a thug with no brains. You can only borrow so many Man Utd kids and they will be going back at the end of the season....Sunderland are not going up but the Super Rams ARE!!!!

sunderland is not in the top flight for one
i wouldnt say hes doing a good job with the morality of the club!(ie. sex scandal)
He can be but as its been pointed out its taken Sir Alex 20 years to get where he is so comparing the two right now is a little pretentious

No. He wouldn't have the guy administration skills required. This has been proved with each and every activity he has carried out. i does no longer be suprised if in 2 or 3 years he supplies up administration as he had a lot fulfillment as a participant he received't be in a position of handle the lack of it as a manager. next guy u manger will be Laurent Blanc or pep guardiola
