Women will say "No", but 1) that is usually the way it is and 2) if the men receive gifts, then they are nowhere nearly as nice or costly as the ones the women receive or expect to receive.

Valentines day should be all the time not just 1 day of the year... give your partner gifts on any day don't wait until the calendar tells you that its gift time to do it...

Valentine's Day is for sweethearts, that is not a term which defines male or female but is applied to both.

I think the whole gift giving thing on valentines day is unnecessary... another reason for stores to get you to buy buy buy!!!

No I get my boyfriend something too.I'm not very good at ideas for Valentine's Day though so I got him a box of turtles and a dvd and little things like that last year.

Absolutely not. Last Valentine's Day I made my pumpkin a card, baked him a big chocolate chip heart-shaped cookie made from scratch, bought a big mylar balloon and a video game. We had a nice dinner out too.

That's ridiculous. In a relationship, if gifts are being exchanged on a holiday, it should be mutual.

Many moons ago it was all about the girls getting candy, flowers, etc. Now both girls and guys give and receive gifts.

Absolutely not. I think men deserve gifts, too. My hubby brings me roses and I take him out to dinner. We do the same thing every year. We are creatures of habit.
