There is no contest- the ostrich. They are huge and mean. With their neck, they are 6-8 feet tall. They pretty much double the size and weight of an emi. An emu is about 4-5 feet with their neck and much more even tempered.

The Ostrich would win against an Emu. They both have the long 'claw' on their feet which can disembowel another animal, or indeed a human. However an Ostrich is bigger and stonger than an Emu generally speaking so, although they can both kill, an Ostrich stands a better chance of being the winner in such a fight.

The ostrich would probably best the emu. Although there are not any records, I guess if they got in a fight, the ostrich would usually best the emu , because the emu is generally smaller and weighs less. In addition, the ostrich is known to be much more aggressive, and the emu comparatively more docile. Here are some quotes from a pair of websites:
. . . . " Emus, Ostriches, and Rheas – all flightless “running birds” - . . .belong to the same class: “Aves”. Emus resemble ostriches somewhat in appearance, but are significantly smaller and more easily managed. Ostriches have a reputation of aggressive and comparatively difficult manageability. ". . . . .
". . . and most find that Emu are more esthetically pleasing to the eye. As well as being more docile, peaceful, and even timid, compared to ostriches,. . . "

Maybe an ostrich. I've never seen an angry emu.
What are they arguing about?

It relies upon on your fisticuffs methods... the ostrich has you crushed for length needless to say, yet once you in basic terms run between his legs, then bounce up and pump his a$s finished of Chernobyl-seed, you will win. And Tom might have undesirable flow-breed superhero ostriches that would have enormous floppy ears and might shag relatively rapid... nonetheless no beak nonetheless... :(
