Egad ladies (and weirdo guy) I am appalled. I woudl never use YA to ask a question with hidden meaning. And for the record, I get up with the kids, make the lunches and breakfasts, dothe laundry and dishes all because I love my sweetie.. sniff sniff.. I am hurt at your accustions :(

Hi..What is her reasoning? Breakfast in bed and a candle lit dinner would be just as lovely a gift. You can also play a CD of her fave songs.Try to do something she's always wished you could do..dancing falls under a this category for a lot of men.if you can already dance, put it to use. Women tend to prefer the thought more than objects. Efforts are just as valuable as pearls.

Added:

I don't know what you really meant but I'm guessing it's vile.Don't waste our time schmuck! How sad that YA isn't what it used to be.

Umm, if you wake her up with THAT kind of pearl necklace, you just may never have to worry about her birthday again. Don't be surprised if she goes Lorena Bobbitt on you, HAHA!....I can't believe people don't get the pearl necklace thing.

I'd take them in a heartbeat , I hope your wife loves them .
(the 'no gifts' is to keep it low pressure,
the non-divas do that . . . you are lucky)
UNLESS the other posters are right and you are using the PN as a euphemism for some perv thing . . .
Are you actually some low life looser as others suspect ?

Tsk...no it wouldn't. I think she'd be slightly perturbed. lol Fyi to all men...when the wife says "no gifts" if you listen she'll be upset

Edit: To those who've answered...that's not the...pearl necklace he means. Its something sexual

it would be nice but she did say no presents so you might want to go for something simpler like cleaning the house, doing the laundry, cooking the mels...you can figure out the rest
