I am totally against it. Even if you have worn uniforms from K-12, I don't think there should be uniforms in college (I wore them from 9-12, with a rather strict dress code from 1-8). In college, people are adults and should make their own decision and if they don't get to make this decision in college, then when will they get the opportunity? At work? Doutbful. The only exception I agree with is with military colleges.

Uniforms in college? You've got to be kidding!!!! Seeing as how students have a choice as to what college/university they go to, I doubt any school would shoot themselves in the foot like that.

And how on earth would it be enforced? It's not like you can be sent to the principal or anything. Whoever told you that colleges were thinking about instituting uniform policies was probably pulling your leg.

Wow! I did not even know any colleges were considering uniforms. I don't think it makes much sense to tell you the truth. Especially for non traditional students (older adults returning to earn their degrees). I can't imagine that any one would go for it, or what purpose it would serve.

i think its a good idea as no one gets picked on for the clothes they wear for one
two you dont need to have a huge range of clothes to mix it up every day
for guys its ok
but for girls well
and as far as going out to work there are lots of jobs that require to wear a uniform amb police fire hospital nurse
there are dress codes for almost every job there is even a lady of the night needs the right outfits
