Years ago I was watching the History Channel of motorcycle tech. It had an episoid of a motorcycle with outriggers. The bike was enclosed and the rider sat in a recliended position. What bike did I see?

Several companies made experimental bikes like that in the late forties fifties and it was revived in the seventies due to the oil storage in 74. Namely Trumiph, Harley, Indian, BSA. and I think BMW even made one.
Several small independent companies also tested bodies for motorcycles as well.
But nothing ever come of it past experimental stage. There wasn't enough of a market for fully enclosed motorcycles.

Now in Japan Honda's first cars after WWII was powered by their motorcycle engines and even had chain drive. Kind of weird opening the hood and seeing a motorcycle engine.
