I'm looking for a place to go in SAn Francisco where it is easy to hook up. Is there a place with glory holes or something like that. Or where the sex is pretty much a given and it is not just a pick up bar type place?

I beg to differ. I was born and raised in San Francisco and have never had any negative experiences. I love the people here. Perhaps your friend isn't looking in the right spot.
