effect pedals for vocals?

i'm startin a band and was wondering what would be the best effect pedal to use to sound like hellogoodbye here(in your arms)?

i play rock guitar and use effect pedals ie overdrive ,wah wah,delay,distortion ,univibe ,chorus and others i have often thought
what a vocalist would sound like if they went though some of the pedals mentioned if your guitarist has some effects try it through the pa system you never know you may find a new angle to try thats the beauty of music experimenting

one day i will get a violin or cello i have been thinkin of this wire a humbucking pick up into it and try some strange stuff though an overdrive and univibe wah wah all cranked at cazy levels though a marshall stack

just experiment mate plug in a peddle or two mike them up and give it a shot they may o may not work there was a vocalist unit by digitec some while ago
