Some guy I know never stops talking about it and he says he plays it all the time. I have an account on there, but I never go on there because I think its pointless and boring. I keep telling him the game is for nerds, but he doesnt think so. Who else thinks the game is for nerds/geeks? I want to prove that Im right.

I don't say it's for nerds, but I do think it is for people who are wasting a portion of their life on an online game. Parents should talk to their children about the dangers of constant online gaming. I personally enjoy online gaming, but I am not talking about it constantly and stuff. Playing online games constantly will slowly ruin your social life for the world outside of your mom's basement... Err, I mean house. Online Games are like drugs when you start to overuse gaming and you should stop whenever possible. Tell him to consider reading a book that has a medieval theme to it or something. Also, if possible, tell him he's going to mess up his computer because the website has trojans(a bit like a virus) on it and he's going to make his parents waste another 600 dollars just so he can play a pointless MMORPG. The conclusion is that RuneScape isn't for nerds because being a nerd means you are a person who does too much unnecessary studying and studying is your #1 hobby. RuneScape isn't for geeks due to the fact that most of the kids are only 8 year olds and they just want to play and meet new friends. So you don't call him a nerd, you tell him that HE'S WASTING A FREAKISHLY HUGE PORTION OF HIS LIFE!! Which is worse than being called a nerd or geek.

Nerds don't play Runescapes. They got better things to play like chess. Runescapes are for losers and people who have no life. I mean, you have to be pretty pathetic to enjoy a game that's really boring, bad graphics, and really repetitive. Just look at the people who asks for free Runescape accounts. They all seem like studs.

the countless many countless those who play it are nerds. i ought to say 8 out of 10 human beings taking section in Runescape are nerds. the different 2 human beings, the probabilities are intense that one is a chinese sweatshop gold farmer, the different is very few dude who's taking section in because he's bored.

I used to waste my time on rune scape and also MU and recently world of warcraft ok tell this guy about mu and tell him it's free and tell him that he should try it once he tries it he will no longer play runescape but mu also tell him that i like to play on alchemy server but world of warcraft is the best! you get 10 day free trial and then u have to pay $20.0 to activate acc but then you just pay $15 per month to keep the acc. playable. runescape is nothing comparedto mu or world of warcraft but there boh nothing compared to world of warcraft.. All in all every game is a waste of time but the only reason ppl play htem is cuz their live r proble boring like mines.

i played it for one year...yes thats right one year..lol now i just find it totally boring, but when i played it i wasnt as knowledgable about mmorpg's as i am now, now that i've met other mmorpgs like WoW or LOTRO or DAoC i find runescape totally boring, all in all runescape sucks now, but used to be addicted xD

No, but yes. I had a bf who used to play on it but he wasn't addicted. I love him to death so no not really but yes becuase it so stupid and dumb. Ha
