it depends...the run a gun offense is lead by the pg, and with Barbosa and Banks on the reserve for Nash I think they can still run that kind of offense although without the same kind of success

Not necessarily. See the roster was essentially the same when Stephon Marbury was the point guard. They ran half court offense then. It's just that Nash is a much higher quality PG. If Jason Kidd has the same team even at his age they'd be great and also run Half Court sets. Hell they'd a won it all by now.
