Removable Drives = Memory sticks / external drives / some cameras / ipods

You can install these drives in your usb port

The purpose of removable drives extra storage i.e. I have a 200Gig drive full of music, photos, music videos, movies, operating systems, applications for everything and Games. I use this for backup programs that I upload onto other computers (and download theirs while im at it ;). I also have a 1Gig USB memory stick which i use for transfering smaller files quickly from one PC to another i.e. documents & mp3's

sounds like your running a sata drive if you are its because sata supports hot swapping meaning you could unplug it say like in a raid config this is normal
