I am a lesbian but I am attracted first to clean hair, be they male or female. Cleanliness is important. Then I look for intelligent, laughing eyes. If they pass these two simple tests, I then deem them worthy of a third look into their actual intelligence and personality. These are what I find necessary, but I am so glad I no longer have to play the dating scene. Been hand fasted to my partner for 26 years.

Attracts--- or keeps?
For attracting, a guy who is physically good looking, and seems to be somewhat in control of his situation-- possessing a certain amount of charisma and power. Biology drives women to look for a mate who can give them healthy children ( what we perceive as good looking is actually biological health) and who can protect and provide for the woman and the offspring.
Keeping them attracted is a little more complex. Depends on the woman, but for most---looking soulfully in their eyes and telling them you love them--- only them--- forever. Showing compassion and concern for her--- an occasional massage--- and she'll never leave you!

the first thing I look at is eyes. eyes just make a face for me. however he has to have the personality to match. Looks will only get you so far with me. He has to be kind, understanding, compasionate, loving, open minded, romantic, fun, outgoing, honest, sincire, genuine, and just real (I hate fake people). Physical attraction will get you in the door but personality will keep you in the house.

We all have different interest to what we are attracted to, either good or bad. I don't think Personality and persona is much to ask for, but then you get girls and guys who are just too picky.

Different things are attracting to different women. For example....some women love flowers while others detest them. You need to get to know that person for who they are and you will find what they like.

to be accepted for who we are not only on the outside but on the inside too, and a sense of humor, kind spirit and a to be moderately good looking wouldn't hurt.
