Well, that depends on your defenition of good cheese and how long the meat has been rotting. Anything that rots long enough (especially an organic substance like meat) will stink stronger than anything considered good. Even wonderfully stinky cheese. So, my answer is bad meat. however, day old bad meat won't smell nearly as bad as fresh gorgonzola. So, you choose.

Bad meat. Ever get a good whiff of road kill? I walked by a chow that had been rotting in the hot Texas sun for at least two days, and NOTHING smells as bad as that.
