techniques?

Question

what are some techniques i can use to make my argumentive essay more appealing and convincing???

someone suggested to repeat the number of deaths after every paragraph to stand for the year..but what else??? how do i make it a GREAT paper.

help from english professors would be very helpful!

Without the essay title our job is VERY hard. We are not psychics you know!!!

But here are a couple of suggestions: Use short paragraphs and have a pithy point in each. Make sharp clear statements that do not get involved with emotional content. If you tell a story or give an example, set it off from the text with indents.

Here are my suggestions as an English teacher:

1. CHECK all your spelling errors and read the thing aloud before turning it in to get the typos that spell check does not (their and there, that kind of thing)
2. Make sure that the commas and colons and other punctuation is in there properly.
3. Make sure that there is a people sentence in each paragraph that is first - that way I can (as I grade it) know what this section is about.

Try hard now, and let us know the result. How? I dunno!
