A judge refused to jail a convicted paedophile for another offence and ordered him to pay his latest victim, a six-year-old girl, enough money to buy a new bicycle to cheer herself up.
Relatives reacted angrily as Judge Julian Hall imposed a suspended sentence on Eric Cole, 71, who had previously been imprisoned for abusing a 12-year-old child.
This British Court Judge should be removed from the bench.

This is outrageous. There's no justice here and the judge is allowing the pedophile to continue to endanger the society so he should lose his job.

I do not have the full details, unless what you posted happens to be all the information.
If that is the case the Judge should be removed from the bench. The child should be offered psychological counseling.
Otherwise, I would need to know exactly what was considered sexual abuse.

There is no justice in the world.As usual the judge feels sorry for the offender and maybe there was mitigating circumstances we are not told about. As a mother I feel appalled that these people get away withblue murder while the victim suffers long term.Laws need to be changed.
