I am having a Valentine's Day party on the tenth of February. Do you have any ideas on what to do? I invited my 9-year-old friends. I just need help on activities for it.

just have little fun games, like pin the tail on the donkey (or in this case cupid) and twister would be fun, maybe some mini-bowling, glow in the dark tag....just fun things...
good luck...and have fun!

Have everyone make Valentine's cards for their parents using construction paper, stickers, marking pens, etc.
With a parent's help, you could maybe bake some cookies and let everyone decorate some to take home.
If your parent is able to buy some beads, you could make bracelets.
Have fun!

I think Ruby V and Victoria have some really good ideas. and if u have one of those magic 8 balls all of u can ask it funny questions. u could blow up baloons and put a slip of paper mentioning a certain prize n each one and each guest picks a baloon and pop to see what gift they get. u can get some cheap gifts at dollar tree.

There's lots of idea's and you can also try making a heart shaped pinta and fill it with candy and little fun things. You can find some things from dollar stores or a party store and fill it up with party favors.

Example of what I mean by party favors like little novelty items and check out martha steward living for some ideas.

I noticed that they use balloons to make a pinta and maybe if you can find some heart shaped latex party balloons you can try to use that to make your own. Check the craft stores or party favor type stores in your area.

You can make heart shapped sandwiches and cookies. If you happen to have a heart shaped cake pan you can also make a cake.

If your friends have computers you could always download these and burn them to disks and give them away as party favors. I have the mccafee site advisor on my computer and all the sites have been checked to be ok by the site advisor.

Maybe you can also dress up in a theme for valentines day? Maybe wear something lacy or victorian or your favorite walt disney character? Here's some ideas for characters off the disney site.

For games maybe have a treasure hunt, maybe have a contest for prizes, play some board games and that could be apart of your contest, musical chairs, play the game charades, ispy with my little eye game, instead of pin the tail on the donkey you could recreate the game and call it pin the heart on cupid.

Rules for Charades

http://travelwithkids.about.com/cs/travelgamestoys/l/blcharades.htm

Pin the heart on cupid you would need to create a cupid and pin it up on the wall and you can blind fold the person. You can try to make it yourself or you can find ready made ones at the store.

I spy with my little eye is played like you pick a color of something in the room and the person has to guess what it is.
