I don't want any of those crappy main-stream movies today like Saw or the Grudge. It can also be disturbing too like "Jacob's Ladder", "Session 9", or "The Three Extremes". And not something old(anything before the 90s). Thank you.

I appreciate it but alot of the movies that are being suggested are main-stream. I mean c'mon "The Sixth-Sense" and "Cabin Fever". Those are very mainstream, I don't mind foreign movies, especially Asian horror.

- Tesis (It's a spanish horror/thriller. Ángela Márquez is a film student who, while researching for a thesis paper on violence in cinema, stumbles upon a snuff film featuring the murder of a former student at the university. Enlisting the help of male classmate and violent-movie buff Chema, Angela begins an investigation into the crime that leads them to several suspects. One of them is Bosco, a handsome classmate to whom Angela finds herself attracted, much to the chagrin of Chema)

- Abre los ojos (A spanish thriller. The original spanish version is much better than Vanilla Sky. An imprisoned man hides his face behind a mask is telling his story, as a flashback, to a psychiatrist: his name is César, he is an orphan but he had inherited a fortune from his parents, and he used to live in a luxurious house of his his own. He was also very handsome and a renowned womanizer. His best friend, Pelayo, was jealous of César because he was not very successful with women. But one night, Pelayo showed up in one of César's parties with a beautiful woman named Sofía. When César met her and talked to her for a while, he began to feel something he had never felt before: love. And, although she was supposed to be Pelayo's girlfriend, he tried to woo her, spending that night at her home. But Nuria, with whom César had his last affair, was very jealous; she went to pick him up in her car the next morning, and committed suicide by ramming it into a tree. César survived the crash, but his face was hideously disfigured, his handsome looks gone. Doctors said they couldn't help him. He was very depressed and still in love with Sofía. One night he went out with her and Pelayo, and he felt that they were very uncomfortable with his presence. But the morning after, his luck seemed to change completely: Sofía came to him, saying that it was he whom she really loved, and the doctors called him and told him that, with a revolutionary new technique, they could rebuild his face, which they did. César was happier than ever, but that's when the really strange and scary things started to happen...and César found out that the real nightmare had only just began for him....)

- Nattevatgen (Means Nightwatch. It's a Danish movie, there's also an english or american version. Go for the original. The story is about a student who has a job as a nightwatch in a mortuary where strange things are happening.)

- The Lake County Incident.
The Lake County Incident is about a whole family who are being terrorized by aliens on Thanksgiving night. The whole movie is filmed with a handcamera just like in The Blair Witch Project. Actually, The Lake County Incident was made a few years before The Blair Witch Project. Don't watch this movie alone, it's very scary.

Enjoy it.

Look to the classics! The first Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Children of the Damned, and Hellraiser. Also I would recommend Phantasm (if you can find it at the video store). The truth is all the best slasher movies are pre 90's when the genre got watered down and silly

Like I think a few others have said, Memento is a really good one. Identity (John Cusack, I think) was pretty interesting, too.
