Shaylee, your idea worked, only problem:
it wont go on the ipod cuz ipod can only use itunes and this is origionally from windows media player.

is there a way to change the format so the song will go on ipod?

Start itunes
From File , go to Import Folders
Follow directions to point to the folder where your other songs are

Itunes will do the rest and add these songs to your Library
Then move the songs from the Library to the iPod

i have had the same problem. im not sure if this will work but you can give it a try... first things first if you bought the song from windows media player there is no possible way of putting them into your ipod. but if you didnt then what you can try is right click the song select open with and then it should say itunes if not then go down where it says choose program in there it will say itunes. once when you do that it will seem that it did nothing or itunes will automatically pop up and it will be in there. i would open itunes before you do everything to see if it went in there. i have tried this and its worked for me hope it does the same for you!! :)

i have had an identical problem and so some distance i'm no longer precisely constructive. iTunes has alot of license crap. once you've it on CD's, you ought to re-upload it onto ITunes. If no longer, you're prolly going to ought to purchase them. Thats why I hate iPods! the different MP3 participant don't have that prob you ought to prolly get a document converter even with the actuality that At a very last hotel, locate the document, it truly is going to say something like (call of music).mp3 or .wm_(something). you adjust it to an .mp4a which might want to convert to an Itunes document.

If they work in Windows Media player that means they are stored in your computer somewhere. If you can find them. Go into itunes. and add them to your itunes (im guessing you know how to do that). But if you say you cant find them but they still work in your media player then either look harder or i dont know....at least i can say i tried.
