DOES ANYONE KNOW THE HOURS TO GET A VEHICLE INSPECTION AND ALSO DO THEY CHECK THE HANDBRAKE?

MINE WAS DUE IN JANUARY, HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO DO IT BEFORE I GET A TICKET

different state / counties / metro areas have different types of inspections.
these inspection are performed by different type of business'
so really need to Know more before giving and answer.
basically if the vehicle inspection is for emissions not they won't check the hand brake as part of the test. if the inspection is for safety yes they will. if the inspection is to transfer registration front 1 state to another this varies from state to state some only check VIN # some do safety check.

Yes emergency brakes are part of the inspection but most of the inspectors efforts will be about polution equipment. You probably have until the end of Feb to get the inspection the grace period is usually 30 days but I wouldn't push it.

It is also a good idea to have your mechanic work done where the inspection is done. This will keep you from failing the inspection by driving the car from the mechanic shop to the inspection shop.

u need 2 get it done asap they do check the hand brake...

it can always be adjusted or tightened

about an hour and the hand brake should be checked.
