Baby sitting, helping the elderly some older people who maybe can't move like they used to would love to have help from someone young and energetic to do some of the more serious cleaning or yard work.
Check to see if your area or check with school guidence counslor for youth work programs. Some communities will have summer programs that allow with special permit teens from the ages of 14 and up to work.
Often those programs however are geared to allow only minorities and teens from lower income families jobs.

How about babysitting??? Or even helping out at the library or a day care center?? You need working papers signed by your parents for the jobs that are "on the books."
Also, local YMCAs hire young adults to help with sports activities and after school clubs!!
Good luck!

Cleaning, kitchenwork, packing, running errands, gardening, babysitting, are some of the jobs available. These jobs will be posted in local newspapers and billboards. A better option is to work from home on your computer-write articles, sell on eBay,make a website, take surveys. More details are available at http://www.pcworkathome.net/jobsforminors.html

Schools, have programs that give jobs for under age minors. Sometimes they give you credit for courses, and sometimes they pay. You should find out what your school is offering. Also, you might want to volunteer some where, volunteer work looks really good on future resumes and potential employers. You need to have a work permit, since you are under age, and legally not allowed to be hired, you need to get a work permit. But your best bet, is to see what kind of programs are offered at your school. Some are summer youth programs.. Good luck.

You may be able to get a job as a supermarket bagger. The hours are easier and you are not out in the cold. They hire a lot of very young people for that job around here and probably do in your area too.

Babysitting is always an option. You could also start a small business like dog walking or yard work (shoveling snow, raking leaves, etc.). Start something a little different, like making and selling get well cards and invitations. The possibilities are endless.
