Yep, totally normal for Oscars to behave that way. They can keep sulking in the corner for several days. Don't let it worry you, they will perk up before too long

There could be many different things going on. How big is your tank. Oscars get very large, and are not well suited for small aquariums (55 or smaller). They will quickly out grow a smaller tank. How are your water parameters? Ammonia levels, along with nitrite and nitrate levels should be monitered- hopefully your tank it fully cycled, but if you don't know or it's not cycled, read up on the nitrogen cycle. Where did you get the oscars from? Was it from a legitimate fish shop or a local department store? Not all stores take care of their fish and some have some diseases, are underfed, etc. Did you acclimate your fish to the tank (ex. float the bag, drip method, etc) or did you drop them directly from the bag to the water? they could be in shock if they went from one temperature to a different temp in a short period of time. The fish could also just be a little bit shy and may come out of their shell in due time. I wish you would have given a little more information.

hi! I have been raising tropical fish for many years and love it! Every time i get a new fish they usually are stressed out a little and tend to stay in a corner or somewhere to hide. In a couple of hours they should get used to it and be very happy! Also make sure that your tank isn't over crowded with to many other fish! Hope that helped, good luck!

well if you just got them give them a day or two to get used to the new habitat then if they still stay in the corner then sorry they might have something wrong with them. and if you have a 10 or 20 gallon you will have to clean your tank every single day 'i wouldn't do that' but if you have a bigger tank they might be fine.
good luck! :)
