Almost any school can prepare you for accounting. Georgia State would be more than good enough.

The best accounting programs are found in the best business schools. The best undergraduate business schools are:

1. Wharton (University of Pennsylvania)
2. Sloan (MIT)
3. Haas (University of California at Berkeley)
4. Ross (University of Michigan)
5. Stearn (NYU)
6. McIntyre (University of Virginia).

Other universities with strong undergraduate business programs include UCLA, USC, Texas, Villanova, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Maryland. If you want to stay in Georgia, then I would suggest The University of Georgia, Georgia Tech or Emory.

For the state universities, it should be functional when you're in state. you could bypass to the school Board website and spot how your GPA and examine out ratings study to their records. IMHO, Illinois and Indiana should be aims. i do not understand adequate about NYU and USC to say. something else may be stretches except you're in-state, yet they don't look to be out of the question
