Yes you can transfer your tv license from you house to a rented house all you have to do is to write to the tv license people or ring them

Of course. A TV licence is for the TV, not the property it's in. Just let them know you've changed your address, or your new licence will go to your old address.

The ans is yes but you must inform them, you can update all of your contact details on their website, so if you've changed your name, address, email address or phone number.

When you move, your TV Licence doesn't automatically move with you. So you need to notify them of your change of address, so that they can update their files and make sure you are correctly licensed.

Please note that you will need your TV Licence number. They use this to ensure that only you can access and change your contact details.

Their form is available via this link:-

Those tv license people get off on sending blackmails and threatening letters.... so call them up before you move and declare your address change and the date it becomes effective.

They'll send an updated license.

naah you need to get a refund on the old licence and take out a new one for the new property.

That's unless you are on the direct debit scheme, when they just issue you with a new license for your new address.
