iv got three connections, all wired, over my router:
1)computer one-works fine regardless of ps3 being online or not
2)computer 2- shows limited or no connectivity when ps3 is online
3) ps3-no problems.

i have tryed resetting my modem, router, and computers, no dice. repairing the connection does nothing as well. anyone have any ideas?(do not tell me to get a xbox360/wii)

It may be that the PS3 doesn't accept its DHCP assignment nicely -- I assume your router is handing out IP addresses to each device. Try the following:
On computer two, go to Start > Run and type
cmd
and hit enter. Then give the following commands:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns
exit
Then shut all 4 devices down (including the router). After 30 seconds start the router, and when all the normal lights are on turn on the PS3 first. Once that is connected, turn on the two computers, and see if that solves the problem.

Either your computer sucks, or your PS3 is crappy, or it just hates you cause' you did something wrong, or it's all three.
