I live in Chicopee, MA currently.
I am only 15 years old in April.
And I have to move to Sacremento, CA.
Its because of a job promotion for my dad.
How can I prevent this from happening?

You can't - look at this as an exciting adventure, I know @ 15 your friends and stuff are the world to you. Trust me one day you will be glad you had this chance.

Unfortunately, you can't prevent this from happening. I know you wish you could, trust me, I did, too! But in 20 years or so you'll be glad that you moved because it was a great opportunity to meet new friends! I'm guessing you and your friends have a cell phone and an email address, right? Them email or call each other everyday and tell them what you are doing. And, me living in Massachusetts, myself, I would have to say you are lucky to be moving to a place where it is summer all year 'round! And, with an advantage, a lot of people visit Sacramento or somewhere in California near Sacramento so maybe one of those will be your friends and their family and might let you come back to Chicopee with them, then you just fly back by yourself, with permission, of course! And one last thing, moving will be a great opportunity for your family to get a money raise, and a great opportunity for your dad to start a whole new career! Good Luck in Future Travels!

Unfortunately you can't, unless you stay and live with another relative in Chicopee. But then you will miss your father and family. It will be a good move Sacramento is a happening place, friends from MA might want to visit. There might be opportunities for you to visit back home. You are at a hard age to move, High School, but join clubs etc and you will make new friends. With the computer and cell phones it is easy to remain friends with old friends. Good luck to you!!

I moved 14 times in the first 14 years of my life, so I know it's tough. However, I also know that one move won't hurt you. In fact, it will make you stronger by helping you develop better people skills and more flexibility.
