Sure, to much money is spent on fashion clothing. To many people already focus on appearance. School uniforms would make it easier and cheaper. "casual-day", on Fridays is also a good idea....works fine in several offices around the world today. Nice to see so many like the idea of school uniform......I'm a bit surprised....Good Question ^^

I am a parent of a first grader and I believe uniforms should be mandatory because it will keep the kids from teasing one another about all the different name brand clothes and they can focus on the person and class

Yes. in the school were i work as a teacher all the children wear uniforms and it is very practical and democratic. (Everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic or cultural status, look alike). Even I use a uniform. But we have casual days or jean days every other Friday and then everyone wears their favorite (but still school appropriate) outfit and its fun.

Yes, most definitely!! Because this the reason why our children today are being killed, teased or talked about. Most of the parents can't afford or provide nice things for their kids. And I agree they should have it only on Fridays or special occasion. I bring home good money, but I feel why spend so much money when they're going to grow out of it and believe me you do have to live afterwards(pay bills, eat etc.) Especially if you have more than one ;shoot I have FIVE. LOL

Yes, but I think Fridays should be a day where the kids don't have to wear uniforms.

School uniforms will emphasize equality, everyone is equal in the eyes of teachers. This will teach future genration children to respect all equally. Every child irrespective of their race will be equal in the school.

Yes. And I also think there should be same sex schools where girls are taught by women and boys are taught by men. No boys and men in girl schools and no girls or women in boy schools.
