I think that they are pretty cute already but you could look for a cute pin or brooch to put on each one... Or since rhinestoning them would be too gaudy you could string cool sequins through them or layer them with fabric..

You could try putting a little pin or brooch on each at the front. That will spice up the look. If you're looking for colour try a permanent marker to stain the white. Test on the inside first to see how it looks.Good Luck

Well, you could find a cute pin or brooch and place it right in the middle of the white band. Be creative, beads, buttons and flowers work too.

Well it depends what kind of shoes they are. If they are flip flops then add sparkles or feathers to make them stand out. If they are tennis shoes then color them with markers or ask your friends to sign them. See how many signatures you can get.
