Was planning to go clubbing, but it's too cold and I don't fancy waiting in a queue for ages, then waiting on the station to get a train, followed by a mile walk back home. So I'll stay on here, and share some knowledge.

i have to finish writing my novel, i'm on page 1.
it's gonna be about a girl (yet to be named) who chose to spend a quiet night at home instead of going partying with her friends. She turned on the TV to check out the news channel. Break news of the moment was reporting a live capture of an alleged former russian female spy. The screen showed an aerial view from the newstaion helicopter and she rubbed her eyes in disbelief, in front of that apartment building which the spy was said to have been hiding had the same set-up of Christmas lighting decoration as the one outside her building. Dumb ideas always get repeated, she was refering to the peculiar decoration of Santa Claus being pulled out of a chimney by Mrs Claus characters! She could hear the sirens, but not from the TV, rather they were coming from outside her window, could it be someone in her apartment building? .... A man suddenly broken into her door and called her a name she instantly felt familiar yet couldn't quite make sense of it. "Quick, follow me if you want to escape, the feds are here for you, there's no time to explain." And he grabbed her arm, she went along......
