I made the acount and i put my debit card info in. The card is set to primary dont know what that mean. I wanted to know if i can buy now that i inserted my debit card, or what else i need to start buying. It says acount balance 0.00 $. and the status is Unverified.
I dont know what all this is can some one explain?

When I signed up, it was so confusing, it may as well of been in Chinese.. After all I went thru, at the end it said that because I lived in Spain, I couldn't move money from my acct to the paypal acct cuz by law it can't be done yet. So now I have a paypal acct I can't use.. so believe me, I know what you are going thru..
What you now have to do, is move money from your acct to the paypal acct.. look for a tab that says move money.. Well this is what I understood anyways. Good Luck, customer service is pretty good, they answered my email pretty fast.

basically, if you buy something from Ebay or another site, they you can go to paypal to pay for it. You buy something and then paypal I think will have the buyers name and address for the item you bought , and you just approve it. Paypal will take your debit card and take the money from the bank and send it to the seller. I think paypal makes a small percentage commission but nothing for you to worry about. I have used it and never a problem.
Just be aware of the phising pay pal scams that you might recieve. Letter will say someone has tried to access your account and you need to check on it or you may need to recheck something in your paypal. But you do not use the site of the email to access it. Reason is that URL will go to a fake site and then they will get your ID and password. So if you ever access paypal, access from the small search window, NEVER from the email. Have a good one now.

You can't buy anything until Paypal verifies the bank account attached to your debit card. What they will do is make 2 small deposits (both under a dollar) into your bank account. You need to find out what the amounts are, and enter them into the verification section of your PP account. After that, you can start buying.

they will put two amounts of money in ur account.
sumfin little like cents (pence)... once u get it u sign in paypal and type the two sums of money there. then u'l b verified and u can buy online. it takes upto 14 days for them to put the amount in ur account.
