Actually a radio signal would take from 7 minutes minimum to over an hour maximum depending on the position of Earth to Mars and that's at the speed of light!

it would be impossible to travel to mars within the time frame of 30 sec but you could do it in 90 sec. This is due to limit imposed upon matter by the speed of light. as an object Aproches the speed of light it gains more mass and therefore requires more energy to move. When an object such as a spacecraft reaches the speed if light in gains infinite mass and would therefore require infinite energy to move. Light takes about 7 min to reach mars from earth. The relativistic effects of traveling at light speed or near light speed would cause time to accelerate to 5 times the normal speed of time this wold cause the trim to take about a min and 1/2. All you would have do do to obtain this speed of travel would be to fly a ship to mars at near light speed which is very possible. If this was done time would speed up and you could be there in about 90 sec.

Umm....no.
Light takes a minimum of 7 minutes. nasa just uploaded "smart" software to the rovers Spirit and Opportunity so that they'd chose the interesting pictures to send home, not everything they look at.
If you folded space or used a warp drive, or tunneled a wormhole, then maybe. But that's all theoretical physics for now.

We might ask,"What mars are you referring to?"
Maybe thirty seconds would do it.
Mars bars?
