Unfortunately, all the good brands cost about $160 and up...
Here's some companies I trust or have heard of
DuraTrax: They're dirt-cheap for what you get, but they skimp on quality sometimes...
Team Losi: Their trucks cost a fortune, but they're one-stop shopping for durability and fun!
Traxxas: If you're going in to organized racing, don't bother. Otherwise, they're pretty good
Sportwerks: You could call it Team Losi on a budget since both are owned by the same company. Not as fancy as Losi...
Associated (AE):A purebread racing machine is usually what you get if you buy one of their trucks.
