No nonplayoff team will make it to the Superbowl but I think the team with the best chance is the Jaguars. Great defense second in the league. Awesome young RB in Jones-Drew. What they really need is a solid reciver to help out Garrard.

It definitely won't be from the AFC....there's too many playoff teams that are still on the upswing, like Baltimore and San Diego, plus the perennial powerhouses like Indy and NE that arent getting any worse. Teams on the bubble in the AFC, like Cincinnati or Denver or the Jets, still have too much work to do before they're in the top tier of talent in the AFC.
In the NFC, theres some interesting possibilities.....Green Bay and SF both were improving much in the second half of the season, but I dont see any of those rising all the way to challenge Chicago's D or NO's O next year, as those will most likely stay largely intact as well. My vote goes to the Panthers, who are just a little retooling - and a healthy season for Delhomme and Smith - away from returning to a Super Bowl-caliber team.

THE CLEVELAND BROWNS!!!!!!!!! Alright I'm kidding. Cleveland fan, just a little different than the rest of the people that came on here thinking it'll be their team that makes it. I won't point out teams, but I will tell you that the team has the best shot, is the Niners. Tough team, great coach, solid last year...they have the best chance. Smith may not be the answer, but Gore sure is making him look good. Ask this again in another 5yrs so i can say my Browns will be next...

The Redskins have the best shot. They have one of the best coaching staffs, although management has been slacking lately. But I think with just a handful of moves this offseason they will be able to turn things around with the group they have. Especially with a weak NFC East division with the Giants, Eagles and Cowgirls overhauling either the team or the coaching staff.

The St Louis Rams will do it. It'll be a rematch of Super Bowl 36, with the same team winning it.

San Francisco 49ers.
Towards the end of the season they were actually playing better, kind of like a team. They actually almost made it into the wild card this year. The defense has improved along with Alex Smith's decisions. Frank Gore had a great season so you can expect the same if he stays healthy.
