.
Almost every program comes with an icon in the programs folder.
All you need to do is go to that folder and send a new icon to your desktop.

To get into the program folder
1. RIGHT click START > left click EXPLORE
2. In the Explore tree/ left pane/ scroll down to the folder PROGRAM FILES > double click it to open and see all your programs.
3. Scroll down to the program you want and
Double click the folder of the specific program you want to open
4. Locate the ICON
5. RIGHT click the icon > select SEND TO > Desktop Create Shortcut

BE CAREFUL:
DO NOT manipulate or move anything out of this folder. If you do, it may cause the program to not operate correctly.

Right-click the mouse button anywhere on the empty spot of your desktop screen. Select New --> Shortcut. The Create Shortcut wizard opens up. Click the Browse button and select the application program executable file. Click the Next button and follow-through until the end of the wizard.

instead of clicking on it like you normally would to open press the right-click mouse button and scroll down to "create shortcut"
then drag the new shortcut to your desktop
