i have downloaded google earth but it wont open up. would it openup if i made my home page yahoo

it doesn't matter what your homepage is. I recomend downloading it again to the desktop(you can pick that from the top when you download it) or search for the file in the my computer program. Either way after you download it, you still have to go through the installation process to get it running. Good luck

no as google is a different page to yahoo unzip the download i had to do that and also if that dont work go and download it again as there maybe a component of it missing as it may have not downloaded correctly

I tried to download google earth too. I had to set my resolution up ,uninstall google earth and reinstall in directX mode..hope this helps. P.S.Setting to yahoo home page won't help you.

Look at the bottom of your screen and click on Google Earth. I had the same problem.

Hi suzie6197,

Google Earth runs separately from your web browser. I'm not able to get it to work from my work because they've got some firewall filters to prevent it. It works great from home though.

Just click on the magnifying glass and it should connect to it's server.

not sure why it wont open but making yahoo your home page will have no effect

i really don't think those two things are related in the least.

even if you meant, make your home page google....it still wouldn't matter.

Your homepage shouldn't affect it. Maybe try re-running the installation and if that doesn't work then download it again.
