I have a san andreas (greatest hits) game for ps2. On the level tanker commander, every time catalina shoots Mr. Whittaker, everything gets stuck. All carl and catalina do is just stand there with guns in their hands. For some reason every time I try to pass it, it always does that!! Does anyone know why or at least know how to by-pass that part??

Do you mean the cutscene or mission gameplay? For cutscenes, you can skip it by pressing start. As for mission gameplay, I don't know; I never encountered such a glitch.
Did you check your disc for soils or scratches? Maybe that is the only problem. Otherwise, maybe you just have a bad copy of GTA: San Andreas.

There's an easy way to get your disc playing right, if it's scratched.

Maybe it's trying to load whatever happens after that part, but since there's a scratch or dust, then the PS2 can't load it.

it sounds like ur ps2 needs cleaning or your game needs cleaning try it with alcohol and cotton, wipe from the center to the edge. do not use things like jeans....t-shirts...or anything rough people tend to shrug that off but it honestly can damage the cd.

now if ur askin why it gets frozen i have a answers.anser 1...ur ps2 is too old...anser2....ur game has a virus....anser3 ...u put in the 3 weapon cheats too much wich is ...r1 r2 l1 r2 left down rite up left down down down.
