My friend wants to read a novel that is romantic, inspirational, and funny. It's alright if it has sexual content.
My friend is a 16 year old girl. What book should i get her?

Hmmm....
The Perks of Being a Wallflower (a little depressing)
Youth in Revolt by CD Payne (funny and romantic, a bit sexual)

Speak is a great book, but I wouldn't call it romantic or inspirational.

Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books are romantic and funny.
Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging (can't remember the author) is funny and romantic.
Here Lies the Librarian is all three (by Richard Peck), so is his Amanda/Miranda.
Bridget Jones' Diary by Helen Fielding is, too. Better than the movie.
The Nanny Diaries
Catherine, Called Birdy by Karen Cushman
Just about anything by Robin McKinley. Beauty is my favorite.

Check with your local librarian. They are usually excellent at recommending new books when you tell them the last few you liked.

The Locket by Richard Paul Evans
A Walk to Remember by Sparks
Emily Ever After by Dayton
I'll Be Seeing You by MacDaniel
Julie by Catherine Marshall
Departues by Robin Jones Gunn

It's very hard to think of a book that has all three qualifications. I hope one of these will do!

Sophie's World has a kind of romance, it's very inspirational, not bad funny, no sexual matter and rich learning.

You might try "LILA" by Robert M. Pirsig. I have an idea that it has got good ingredients for a young personality in development.
