It could just be that it was born like this because of a hereditary gene. I think its just like birth marks on people.

You do not say how young or old the fish is, nor do you say how big it is. If it is young or old they tend to change colors as they age and develop new charateristics.
Make sure that the water is clean each week.
It should be fine. !
