What is the going rate I want to be fair? She will be cleaning once a week for about an hour or so.

Well that all depends on what she has to do. Is she doing light work like dusting, vacuuming and picking up? If so, then go with a rate of anywhere from $20-25. If she is going to do your laundry, wash dishes, anything above and beyond the basics then a higher rate will be appreciated. =)

Id say between 10-20 a week. I know its way above minnimum wage but its only once a week. minimum wage is stupid right now anyway. you also want her to be happy because she will be more apt to do a great job and will feel you appreciate her.
