Yes. I have always hoped that we could have a "just" criminal justice system. Eye for an eye. If you torture somebody to death, you should get tortured to death. Why would we allow these monsters the easy way out by sticking a needle in their arm? And with antiseptic applied first? At least stick the ******* in the electric chair still. Vicious and heinous criminals don't deserve safety from "cruel and unusual punishment".

What world do you live in?
The criminal justice system is already full of torture and it's all legal. Behind closed doors/behind jail house bars.
No one thinks about what happens behind jail house bars to prisoners (guilty or innocent) except maybe the families of those incarcerated and the people who financially profit by keeping them there ....
Anyway --- In Your World -- Someone accuses you of rape, you go to court proclaiming your innocence and are convicted of rape. 'Tool' is cut off and then it is discovered you really were innocent. Mistaken identity,wrong place/wrong time, etc Oops! My bad says the judge. What now?

No because that's a slippery slope. Once you allow torture, more and more offenses will have torture as a punishment.
Also, the US prides itself on being civilized. Torture is uncivilized and once we go down that road we would likely become more and more restrictive.
