First of all. There is NO SUCH THING as a GAY MARRIAGE. It's a civil union and, YES, it's wrong.. Marriage is the union of a man and a woman. Always has been and ALWAYS WILL BE...

In other words, silly f a g g o t, ***** are for chicks...

Give as many thumbs down as you wish but, that won't change a thing. Homosexual unions will NEVER be considered marriage!

No I don't think gay marriage is wrong.
People like to spew all this nonsense about how marriage is a "holy union". Marriage was created to ensure paternity - end of story, and that happened long before Christianity or Judaism existed and the idea also managed to pop up all over the world w/out the influence of the so called "western religions".
People also like to say "well if we approve this what next marrying a child, a dog" - give me a break.
All gay marriage would do is give 2 consenting adults the right to have a legal say in each others medical care, finances, etc.
Gay marriage has been legal in some European countries for years and some how they have managed to not descend into chaos.
People who love each other and who want to commit their lives to each other should be able to do so.
Its not like heterosexual couples have done such a great job w marriage anyhow- 50% divorce rate, domestic violence, rampant cheating - give the gay community a chance - they really cant make it any worse than it already is!

Marriage may have started as a religious institution but by being sanctioned by the state, it has become a civil right with cetain benenfits. All people regardless of sexual preference should be allowed to choose their partner and the person to grant those benefits to, such as inheritance, medical and legal decisions. Gays should also have the same tax advantages as other people. Right now gays pay more taxes because they can't claim a spouse and if they die young, have no one who can claim the money they paid in to Social Security. Why should religious belief dictate how other's live their lives? Where is the separation of church and state?

Marriage is a religious institution. Gays marrying is specifically wrong according to doctrine. A marriage is a dude and a chick. The underlying issues isn't really of right and wrong, it's of the government overstepping its bounds in telling a church how it's going to function. Notice that the gay rights groups aren't petitioning government for some kind of legal equivalency, they want to get married. Politics is about the distribution of rights, power and money. Some mega churches have lots of money, if gay marriage were recognized by the state, then gay members would sue the church and eventually find a Jimmy Carter appointed judge to win the case. What gay marriage is about is finding legal loopholes to turn the church into a revenue stream. It's always about money, there have already been cases of litigation against church organizations.

I'm against gay marriage, but I'm for gay civil unions with some kind of legal protection for religious organizations. But therein lies the rub: our legal system is corrupted by leftist/activist judges who legislate from the bench. We cant afford to let gays marry without getting on the slippery downward slope. Once that Pandora's box is open, all hell will break loose.

Personally I think it is wrong. Marriage is between a man and a woman. It was Adam and Eve, not Adam and John. God created the two sexes so that children can come.

In addition, I don't think that two mommies are the same as a mommy and a daddy. Children need BOTH a mommy and a daddy.

I have nothing against gays, I just am strongly against them marrying.

even in spite of the undeniable fact that its a clinical and rights count number, its being dealt with as a relgious venture. My moms boss is a photographer, he took pictures of a male couple at their wedding ceremony, and now they stay a prosporus existence with an followed 5 year previous. those who do get married and dont pick children yet get some are harsh adequate to throw the newborn away. gay couples are easily saviors of maximum of those children. all people is stupid they retain on with faith no longer clinical reality even as its of their face. "god might want to not in any respect create such human beings" then why are they the following? there is no longer something incorrect with gay marrige. im no longer gay, yet i approve of it.

No, I do not think it is wrong. I don't see how the love of a man and woman can be any different between the love of two people who happen to be the same sex. Marriage is about love for one another. I think those who feel that gay marriage is wrong are only thinking about the sex aspect and they feel that is wrong. If all all men are created equal is our founding thoughts of this country, why is this any different??

Yes i feel it is wrong and immoral BUT it is still their choice and in God's eyes there is not one sin worse then any other... When God created man He made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

No, I don't. Gay people don't choose to be gay. Just because the bible says it's wrong doesn't mean anything (no offense). But if the bible said that only gay people were accepted and you were straight, how would that make you feel if you weren't allowed to marry the one you loved? Just because the bible says it's wrongisn't going to make it go way. So just ACCEPT it!
