Some babies cry a lot. Some don't cry much at all. There are no benchmarks for excessive crying at 11, 19, and 26 weeks, nor "brain development spurts". Where did these ideas come from?

y is the baby crying? Changed diaper, feed it, bathed it. and still crying? My grandson did this and the doctor said is colic and you just have to suffer thro it. The only thing I found that worked is car rides and leaveing the baby in the car seat (unbuckled) until they wake up.But the biggest thing is not to get mad cause it won't do any good, except make you more mad ,if needed put the baby down and walk into another room and count to 100 if needed. come back out and talk soothing and try singing songs like twinkle twinkle little star or you are my sunshine but in a soft voice. Hope this helps and I do have 3 children of my own and 3 grandsons so I know what I am talking about. good luck:)

well at 11 weeks they just want to here themselves.
at 19 they've probably noticed that you come running and think its fun and at 26 weeks they know you'll come running and think it fab... they've got you under there thumb and will keep going...

other than that no not really.... they do make more noise in the 5-10 weeks ish as they are just learning there own voice and proberbly still doing a bit of it by 26 weeks.

Babies do indeed go through growth spurts that cause them to eat more often and wake more through the night. It usually happens in interval of three. 3 days, 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 9 weeks, ect...

Never hear of this before or experienced it. Both my own children didn't or any of my charges. Every baby is different with their own personalities.
