I want to be a doctor but don't want to spend too many years.

Right. I want a doctor that's into it for quick money.

MINIMUM for any doctor : 4 years college (top grades), 4 years Med School (top grades), 3 years residency

Nursing by far. Its a 2 year degree where I live and the job is way in demand. Remember that supply and demand isnt just for sales. Nurses are needed like mad right now and have been for some time. The most important thing is doing what you WANT and will be HAPPY doing. NOT MONEY! Im living proof. I was going to be a man nurse but after working 2 years I hated it and was not happy. Back in school now

Insider tip: in my city Katowice, Poland there is a medical school (Academy in Ligota) with several hundred international medical students (most come from the U.S. and Canada) They come here I think because the courses are taught in English, the level of the school is quite high and they can finish their studies in fewer years while spending much less money in the process... In Poland the medical school period (classroom) is about 4-5 years and then you can go on to the internship at any hospital..
