I was told to pick any place or anywhere to describe as a school project. Could anyone give me a written idea or example on how to start. I wanna describe my school's cafeteria. Your help would be appreciated.

nosiy hungry students wait anxiouly in line for their turn at the food counter. Some, afriad of being late for their next class, check their watches every few minutes. A angry looking lady dishes up the sloop they call food onto the held out plates. At the cash register students reluctunaly hand over their hard earned cash for the food they call a meal.(somewhere discuss the smells of the food and what it looks like)

Sit in a quiet room with a pencil and paper. Think about being in the cafeteria. Then describe what fills your 5 senses when you are there.

Try a different point of view. Describe it from the point of view of the person who does the serving, or the point of view of the mouse on the floor, or the really lonely kid who sits in a corner by herself, or even the garbage can which receives all of the wasted food. It sounds like such an interesting project, I wish I could read your paper when you're done.
