Wow about time some asks a decent question. I fully agree it gets so annoying when I have to take a piss and lift the seat up. If they dont want us pissing on the seat then they should lift it up after they are done. I always get bitched at for leaveing it up. But it does make more sense for them to lift the seat after they are done because we can take a piss either way. So for now on when the girls come over to my apt. I will have a sign above the toliet saying ladies please lift the lid after your done. I cant beleive I never thought of this before. You truly are a hero in my eyes. Thank YOU!!!!!!!!!!

no, absolutely not. its not being used so it should be closed. do u leave the potato chip bag open when u r done using it? do u leave your cd cases open when u arent using it? for one thing, if its left open, something could get dropped in there. do u want to get it out? another thing is is that germs are spread when flushing and those germs travel pretty far. another thing, do u have a dog? thats nasty when a dog comes up to be scratched and its face or neck has toilet water on it. besides, it just plain looks nicer not to have to look into the bowl where everybody poops and stuff even tho its been flushed. we all know what was just in there. its not that hard to lift the seat . to "go", we have to lift it too. oh u r talking about the seat, im talking about the seat and lid. both belong down when not in use for all the reasons stated and probably alot more. have a good "one" ;)

"If women human beings only took the time themselves to elevate up the bathroom after utilising it men does under no circumstances bypass over and get piss on the bathroom seat." Does this recommend that men are meant to positioned the seat lower back down once they're carried out urinating into it? both way someone has to the contact the seat. both human beings doing that is the most straightforward way.

NO WAY. EVERYONE should put the seat down and close the lid too. Scientific research has shown that germs and bacteria become air borne when the toilet if flushed and can go a distance of 20 feet. The lid should most defiantly be closed when done. I don't know about you, I don't want pee particles to land on my tooth brush. Do you?

No because it takes more energy to lift the toilet seat than to tap it to fall in the downward position.

I think you're right, but women are genetically programmed to think that the toilet seat belongs down.

Absolutely, and they should scrub the toilet while they are at it. Just kidding. I guess you are asking stuff like this because you are looking for attention from the opposite sex. I'm sure you will get it, but they won't have anything nice to say to you.

No. However, I don't have a problem when my boyfriend leaves the toilet seat up, I just put it back down.

Everyone should not on ly put the seat down, but also the lid because when you flush millions of germs go flying around the bathroom. So it's just sanitary to put it down.

Maybe...but toilets were built with seats, so it was meant to be left down, so you can seat...and i don't understand why its so hard to put the damn seat back down, it's not rocket science, it takes 1 second.
